MY BABY GIRL...growing up!

3 weeks old! And famous already.....so funny!

3 Weeks old today!

Well 3 weeks have gone bye so fast! Being a mom is really hard but it's been the best job I could ever ask for. David and I have been so thrilled and proud to have our little girl slowly grow into this little person. She's so sweet and give us so much love back. I really can't imagine not having her in my life. She's been so popular with the family and friends , it's hard not to sit there and stare!

Ella was very lucky this week, with my mom and April having put on a amazing shower for her. I had so much fun and I think Ella did too......well, fun sleeping the whole time! It's so nice seeing everybody all in one place. And you all spoiled Ella to the max, and thank you so very much. She'll have new clothes until she's two years of age, and I can't wait to see her in all of them. Mom and April thank you for all the effect and hard work you put into Ellas special day. It's really means a lot to me and Dave.

Ella has a new baby BOY cousin today!!

Well it was exactly 2 weeks ago today Ella was born, and her new cousin Nickolas John Maass was born today @(get this) 9 pounds 14 ounces. Trisha was put in the exact same room I had and the same bed I had. So crazy to think that I was just there having Ella! Trisha is doing really well the delivery was realllyyy fast, the doctors weren't even ready for him and he was crowning. So congrates to the new member of the family!

Ella May-Week 1

Well the first week is come and gone. It had it's hard times but tons of good times. She's so amazing and changing everyday! Dave and I are doing well, Dave has a hard time sleeping throught the day ,so it's hard on him in the night. But he's the BEST dad ever,and Ella adores him! I have been really sore from the C-section, but I am getting better. The C-section went very well, but very scary for the both of us. Ella was tough on the Doctors to come out, she was so stuck in me they had to really push on me to squeeze the little one out. So glad it's all over,but sad that the first day of having her is gone. But many many many more days of her to come. We've had many visiters and we love showing her off. So here are some more pictures of the 1st week at home.

IT"S A GIRL!!!!! Ella May Prak...

Well it all happened so fast! She was born April 8th 2008 @ 4:03 in the afternoon, and was 7 pounds 5 ounces. Mommy had to have a C-section, everytime I had a brazton hicks her heart rate would go down. She also had a short abilical cord so I could have her naturally.Daddy and Mommy are doing great ,it's aslow healthing process from the sergery, but doing good. She's so amazing and such a happy baby. Breastfeeding is her specialty, she's so good at it! I will post more later when I get the chance. Thank you from the Prak family of 3....hee hee!!!!

Over Due!!!!

This is what 5 days over due looks like for me! As you can see nothing fits, I live in jp's. But I'm still smiling!

Also, it's my sista is law April's birthday today...so....happy birthday!!!Maybe we can share it by the end of the day!

Not yet!

Well everybody,

I'm know 2 days over due and I had a doctors apointment today. I'm still 3 cm dialated and the head is very low. I will be having another doctor apointment on the Monday April 7th (my sista in law April's birthday).If still nothing I have a apointment at the hospital the next day for a stress test for the baby(not to worry). And if still nothing......there is an inducing date set(but not telling). So for all those who have been wondering, thats whats on the agrenda if nothing happens on it's own.

I'm exited that I see a light at the end of the tunnel. It's nice to know we will be having this baby within the next week .....NO MORE WAITING!!!! David and I are very exited and we can't wait to have the next blog saying "We had a baby".

Waiting.....

Well I headed out to the doctors again last Monday and I'm know 3cm dialated and have some show. If you don't know already show is a little bit of bleeding, which is a good sign. Doc's not quite sure the reason why I haven't gone into labor yet! He's hoping to go skiing this weekend, Nice! He was just being funny....I'm really hoping that it happens soon. My inlaws are back from a 3 weeks vacation and my Dad leaves for a meeting on Thuresday for a couple of days, so it's the perfect gap!

I wanted to thank everybody that has been calling and emailing us to see how things are going. It's really nice knowing were not the only one's waiting, there's plenty of family and friends just as anxious. We have another Friday doctors apointment, hopfully we don't make it till then. Here is a picture of one of the proud Uncles to be.
